Marlow (dpa / mv) - The prefabricated house manufacturer Scanhaus Marlow achieved a record turnover of 127 million euros last year.
The reason for this lies in the increasing demand for prefabricated houses, which has not been slowed down by the corona pandemic, the company announced on Friday in Marlow (district of Western Pomerania-Rügen).
With 939 houses, 18 percent more were sold than in 2019.
The current situation apparently proves more than ever how important it is to withdraw into your own four walls with the appropriate environment, said company boss Friedemann Kunz.
"It can be seen that future builders are going further into the surrounding area in order to fulfill their dream of owning a home."
Scanhaus Marlow claims to be one of the leading manufacturers of prefabricated houses in Germany.
The company employs more than 500 people and is present with its show houses and sales offices in over 50 locations nationwide.
