“To date, the court received protocols against Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, YouTube,” the Roskomnadzor said.

The department also reported that on March 4, Mail.ru LLC was fined for such a violation in two cases totaling 4 million rubles.

Earlier it became known that Roskomnadzor intends to draw up protocols on an administrative offense against Twitter due to the failure to delete prohibited information.

Specifically, Twitter hasn't removed 2,862 entries since 2017.

On March 3, Russian President Vladimir Putin called on law enforcement agencies to more actively identify in the network those who involve minors in illegal actions.

He also stated that it is unacceptable to use children to "achieve their own, selfish, ferret goals."
