The controversy over the sexual scandal over New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is spreading day by day.

Governor Cuomo's former secretary, 25-year-old Charlotte Bennett, told CBS in an interview last June that he was sexually abused when he was alone in the office.

"In my personal opinion, Governor Cuomo tried to sleep with him," Bennett argued. "It was very uncomfortable and had to get out of the room as soon as possible."

"Governor Cuomo said at some point that he was looking for his girlfriend, he was lonely, he was tired," Bennett also said. "I asked him if it was difficult to enjoy being with other people because of the trauma."

Bennett explained that he had told Governor Cuomo that he had been raped in the past in connection with the trauma.

"Governor Cuomo had an attitude of being omnipresent because of his position, and because of his power, he was under pressure to respond."

Earlier, Bennett claimed in the New York Times last week that Governor Cuomo had an explicit sexual approach.

But Governor Cuomo told The New York Times that "he had no sexual approach and had no intention of acting inappropriately."

There are two more women who allege sexual abuse by Governor Cuomo, besides former secretary Bennett.

36-year-old Lindsay Boylan, who served as Governor Komo's aide, claimed that she had been forcibly kissed after a face-to-face report in 2018, and another woman, 33-year-old Anna Rutch, also met with Governor Cuomo's body at a 2019 wedding reception Allegedly molested.

In this regard, Governor Cuomo rejected the request for resignation from the Democratic Party of which he belonged and is refuting to wait for the results of the New York State prosecution's investigation.

US media say it could take months for the prosecution's investigation results to be finalized.
