Berlin / Potsdam (dpa / bb) - Delicious dishes, top performance by the chefs and attentive hosts: this year, Berlin and Brandenburg restaurants have once again made it into the Michelin Guide.

The successes of the top gastronomy, which were successful in the tests, were presented digitally on Friday.

Despite the difficult past months, this year's selection of restaurants confirms the diversity and high level of German gastronomy, it said.

A total of 310 star restaurants were included nationwide.

In the previous year, the restaurant guide contained 308 starred restaurants.

In Berlin, the “Rutz” restaurant was able to defend its three stars.

“Coda Dessert Dining”, “Facil”, “Horváth”, “Lorenz Adlon Dining Room” and “Tim Raue” were honored with two stars in the capital.

A Michelin star adorns 19 other restaurants.

In Brandenburg in Potsdam the “cooking room in the restaurant zur Ratswaage” and the “Kabinett FW” have each been awarded one star.

The "Savu" in Berlin and the "17fuffzig" in Burg im Spreewald in Brandenburg were deleted from the list.

Due to the pandemic, gastronomy is still going through exceptionally difficult times, emphasized Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Michelin Guide.

Nevertheless, the chefs have shown courage and ingenuity to continue to be there for their guests and to maintain their high culinary standard.

Along with Gault Millau, the Michelin Guide is one of the leading international restaurant guides.
