Bremen (dpa) - Werder Bremen's coach Florian Kohfeldt has for the time being refuted speculations about a move to Borussia Mönchengladbach.

“If Werder and I want that, then I'll stay here until 2023,” said the 38-year-old on Friday evening on the “Sportblitz” program on Radio Bremen.

«I can only repeat what I have always said: I really enjoy being at Werder.

Last year we all mastered a difficult situation; two years ago we had the most euphoric season in a decade.

These are things that we basically want to continue. "

Kohfeldt had extended his contract with Bremen in the summer of 2019 to 2023.

In Mönchengladbach he is repeatedly traded together with other coaches as a possible successor to Marco Rose, who will move to Borussia Dortmund after this season.
