Military sources said that the National Army shot down two drones belonging to the Houthi group, during clashes that erupted between the two sides on several fronts in the Ma'rib governorate in central Yemen.

The Army Media Center said that the army repelled a Houthi suicide attack on a military site in the Sarwah district, west of Ma'rib, killing at least 30 Houthis and wounding others.

The center added that the Saudi-Emirati coalition aircraft targeted Houthi reinforcements on their way to the region, which resulted in the destruction of some vehicles, and resulted in great human losses.

In Taiz - south of the capital, Sanaa - local and Yemeni military sources reported that there were deaths and injuries during violent clashes between the National Army forces and the Houthis in the vicinity of the Republican Palace, east of Taiz.

The sources added that the army forces fought a street war against the Houthis in the eastern neighborhoods of Taiz two days ago, trying to control the hill on which the palace building is located.

It reported that the army had been killed in the confrontations, while the Houthi death toll was not known.

The sources also confirmed that the army had made progress in several areas, including the "Sana'a Detachment" and the Economic Corporation building, as well as securing the "Al-Hamad Hospital" of Houthi gunmen and snipers.

On the other hand, the US envoy to Yemen, Timothy Linder King, called on the Houthis to stop the attacks on Marib and respond to efforts for a political solution.
