The thunderous sound was heard over several Halland cities last night.
"The Russian is coming."
"Very uncomfortable."
"Terrible, scared my child and animals."
These were some of the comments on social media after several planes passed Laholm at nine o'clock in the evening.
According to the Swedish Air Force, these are night flight exercises that are done so that the authority is prepared to operate during all hours of the day.
This type of exercise has taken place on Thursday evenings since mid-September.
The exercises are expected to continue until April.
The air force usually exercises over Blekinge, Småland and the Baltic Sea, but it happens from time to time that exercises take place over Halland.
