Gelsenkirchen (dpa) - Dimitrios Grammozis brings three new forces into the starting line-up against Mainz 05 on his debut as head coach of FC Schalke 04 and, somewhat surprisingly, also relies on Kerim Calhanoglu, who is only 18 years old.
It is the Bundesliga debut for Hakan Calhanoglu's cousin from AC Milan, but Benjamin Stambouli has to sit on the bench.
In goal, the fifth coach of the bottom of the table this season can fall back on Frederik Rönnow.
In addition, Benito Raman comes to the Schalke team for Omar Mascarell, who are missing a total of nine injured players.
In the table penultimate from Mainz, coach Bo Svensson changes twice: Jonathan Burkardt and Dominik Kohr join the starting line-up for Kevin Stöger (bench) and Karim Onisiwo (injured).
