Essen (dpa / lnw) - At the weekend it gets cooler, but mostly friendly in North Rhine-Westphalia.
In the nights there can be light frost, said the German Weather Service (DWD).
Friday starts with lots of clouds and local showers.
During the day the sky should loosen up and the sun should shine in most parts of the country.
The maximum values reach four to seven degrees, in the mountains a maximum of three degrees.
According to the forecast, Saturday starts with lots of sunshine.
Towards the afternoon the cloud cover in the north becomes thicker.
The temperatures are between four and eight degrees.
The sun should always come out on Sundays as well.
Only in the northern half do the clouds last longer in the morning and there can be drizzle.
The temperatures rise slightly: The maximum values reach six degrees in East Westphalia and nine degrees in the Rhineland.
