Augsburg (AP) - Bundesliga club FC Augsburg has not commented in detail on an investigation by the DFB control committee because of a cheering photo.
The association's spokesman said on Friday that they had been asked to comment, had submitted them and were now waiting for further developments.
The FCA had published a snapshot on social media after their 1-0 win at FSV Mainz 05 on Sunday.
Twelve Augsburg players can be seen on it, who do not keep a distance from each other when cheering in Corona times and also do not wear mouth and nose protection.
The control committee took action against the background of the hygiene concept.
First of all, the "Augsburger Allgemeine" reported.
The club had been written to by the control committee and asked for a prompt statement, confirmed the DFB of the German press agency.
A decision will then be made on how to proceed.
