The Belgian catering industry has to exercise patience despite easing

Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo on Friday announced relaxation of the corona measures.

The adjustments must provide society with 'the necessary oxygen', so that attention is paid to the other measures.

From now on, you may be outside with ten people instead of four in the so-called outdoor bubble.

This measure applies from 8 March.

A week later, primary and secondary education are allowed to go out again for a maximum of one day.

The travel ban for non-essential travel remains in force for Belgians.

In addition, De Croo announced additional support for the events industry, in order to safeguard employment in this sector.

The catering industry must exercise patience, because they will not be able to open again from 1 May at the earliest.
