Hamm (dpa / lnw) - In the central accommodation facility for refugees in Hamm, a 23-year-old man was seriously injured in an attack with scissors.
The 26-year-old alleged attacker was arrested and is in custody, police said on Friday.
He is accused of dangerous bodily harm.
The two men initially got into a verbal argument in the canteen on Wednesday before the 26-year-old attacked and injured his opponent with scissors.
The 23-year-old had to go to hospital for inpatient treatment.
