Münster (dpa / lnw) - A 55-year-old in Münster is said to have tried to kill her 88-year-old father with a drill.
The woman had been arrested and was in custody for attempted manslaughter and dangerous bodily harm, the police and public prosecutor said on Friday.
She is said to have hit her father on the head with the drill several times during an argument on Thursday.
The man was able to escape from his apartment to neighbors with life-threatening injuries.
After the police and rescue workers were alerted, the suspicion quickly arose against the daughter, it said.
According to witnesses, she fled the shared address after the incident.
“The officers immediately searched the surrounding area and found the 55-year-old a short time later in a garage in the house.
There she was hiding behind the gate, ”explained the investigators.
"The apparently heavily drunk woman was arrested without resistance."
Before that, there should have repeatedly been arguments between father and daughter.
