Naumburg (dpa / sa) - Two people died in a fire in Naumburg on Thursday night.
As the police announced on Thursday, a 43-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man were found lifeless in an apartment in a three-story apartment building on Franz-Ludiwg-Rasch-Straße.
Other residents of the house were saved in time.
According to the current state of the investigation, the fire broke out in the hallway of the house.
The extinguishing work could be completed during the night.
The police are investigating in all directions, it said.
