It was at the end of October that the 45-year-old suspect and the 19-year-old met each other inside Max in Boden.

According to a main witness, who was friends with the 19-year-old, the victim had started talking to the 45-year-old and asked why he looked at him strangely.

The man should then ask him to be quiet.

Shot the 19-year-old in the chest

After the witness and the 19-year-old had finished eating, they then went out to their car in the parking lot outside the restaurant.

The 19-year-old then said that he would talk to the 45-year-old and started to get out of the car.

In connection with that, the 45-year-old drove up next to their car, opened the driver's door and shot the victim in the chest.

The 19-year-old was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards from his gunshot wounds.

The 45-year-old man was charged with murder in February and today, Thursday, the trial will begin.

The police never found the murder weapon

Despite the fact that the murder weapon was never found, the state of evidence is good, according to chamber prosecutor Rickard Finnberg.

In an interview with SVT on February 18, he says, among other things, that there are several witnesses and technical evidence that leads the 45-year-old to the scene.

Police suspect that the man used a homemade staple gun as a murder weapon.

In the preliminary investigation, there are several different examples of what the weapon may have looked like.
