Erfurt (dpa / th) - Thuringia remains significantly above the threshold value 100, which is important for easing the pandemic-related restrictions, for new corona infections. On Thursday, the number of new cases per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days was 127.5, as the Ministry of Health said on Thursday morning announced.
This so-called incidence was higher than on Wednesday (124.5).
From Wednesday to Thursday, 689 new cases of infection and 16 more deaths related to a corona infection were reported.
136 seriously ill with Covid-19 were treated in intensive care units in hospitals.
The number of corona infections since the beginning of the pandemic has increased to 77,793, around 70,000 are considered to have recovered.
