Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development Leading Group Office: Xiong'an New District has entered the stage of large-scale construction
Cong Liang, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission and deputy director of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development Leading Group Office, said in an exclusive interview with a reporter from the CCTV News Center that at present, the Xiong’an New District’s planning policy system has basically been established and the construction of major projects has been accelerated. Xiong'an New District has entered a large-scale construction phase.
Cong Liang introduced that my country has issued a master plan and more than 20 special plans for the Xiongan New District.
At the same time, the Xiongan New Area reform and opening up guidelines have been formulated, and 15 supporting plans have been issued one after another to provide strong policy support for the development of the new area.
At the same time, the construction of more than 120 major projects has been accelerated.

The Beijing-Xiong Intercity has officially opened at the end of last year, and it only takes 50 minutes from Beijing West Railway Station to Xiong'an Station.
The construction of these major projects has laid a good foundation for the Xiong'an New District to undertake concentrated efforts to relieve Beijing's non-capital functions.
In terms of ecological environment management, all 606 pits and ponds with water and sewage in Xiong'an New District have been treated. At present, the water quality of Dianxin District has changed from poor V to IV, and Baiyangdian is gradually recovering its beautiful scenery of blue water.
The ecological environment management tasks of Xiongan New Area have been fully implemented.
