Our second evening report cards

Orietta Berti

. Let's put it this way: of all the singers who performed on the Ariston stage in these two evenings, among those who sang the best there are Orietta Berti and - as a guest - Fausto Leali. "When you fell in love" is a song from the last century, but we give the vote to the profession and the desire to get involved (6).

Bugo

. "But yes" is a rock ballad with a good arrangement, but Bugo (he says it himself) is not a great singer. The vote goes to the author (6).

Gaia

. “Cuore amaro”, a Latin pop heard a hundred times, with a voice that wanders restlessly between fatal tones and special effects (5.5).

The welfare state

. “Combat Pop” is an intelligent and fun mini-show, with echoes ranging from the Clash to Bennato, between magic and transformists. Good (7.5).

The List Representative

. “Amare” takes the stage with a tight and colorful rhythm. Like the song or not, in the end there is a lot of energy left. And it's not cheap (7).

Malika Ayane

. "You Like You Like This" is a pop ride with a chorus that makes you remember. Malika, undoubtedly, knows the trade, but the result is bittersweet (6.5).

Ermal Meta

. Here, “A million things to tell you” is a linear but refined love song, which starts with a piano and grows unstoppable, well written and sung better (8).

Extraliscio feat. Davide Toffolo

. “White black light”, 'on paper', could have been a bomb: a hymn to contamination, from Bregovic to Capossela through the smooth. It needs further listening, but it risks remaining an exercise in style (6).

Random

. "Torno a te" is not a good song, plus he - who would also be nice - is very excited: the result is what he is (5.5).

Lightning

. “Santa Marinella” should move in the wake of the Roman singer-songwriter, a ballad that begins acoustic and then opens with the orchestra. But it is not very convincing (6).

Willie Peyote

. “Never say never (La Locura)”: the only rap among the songs in the competition, relentless text, we dance and reflect, and the “never say never” is already a catchphrase (8).

Gio Evan

. "Arnica": so-so ditty, he is an interesting and multifaceted character, but certainly that of a singer is not the best of his qualities (5.5).

Irama

. Luckily they found a way to get him back into the competition, because “The genesis of your color” is an easy easy piece that will 'torment' us and make us dance a lot (6.5).

Among the new proposals

Wrongonyou

passed

with “Lessons in flight”, a melodic and refined trap sung very well (7) and

Davide Shorty

with “Regina”, a basically soul piece interpreted with talent (7).
