Berlin (dpa / bb) - Anyone who needs a negative corona test for a hairdresser visit should also be able to regulate this in the hairdressing salon in Berlin in the future.
Economic senator Ramona Pop (Greens) pointed this out on Thursday after a special session of the Senate, which among other things dealt with the topics of vaccination and testing.
It was definitely provided that it would be possible to do a daily self-test in hairdressing businesses under the supervision of the service provider, said Pop.
An alternative is to do it in a pharmacy, which can then certify that it was negative.
"A digital solution would also be desirable here: the test has a barcode, I scan my barcode," said Pop.
«And then it's in the right app.
And if the test is positive, it will be reported immediately.
That would be the ideal situation. "
Senator for Culture Klaus Lederer explained that self-tests were not generally sufficient as proof of not being infected.
This applies in places where such proof is required - for example at cultural events.

“It is fundamentally true that where access is linked to the fact that a test result is presented, these self-tests cannot be accepted,” said the left-wing politician.
"We don't rely on people's promise that they've tested themselves in the morning when it comes to access to facilities where a superspreader could possibly trigger an event we all don't want."
