According to the department, the helicopter took off at 13:55 from Bingol to Tatvan, but at 14:25 contact with it was lost, after which the appropriate forces were sent to search.
“Nine of our comrades were killed and four were injured,” the statement said.
Currently, the victims are being taken to the hospital.
