Rendsburg (dpa / lno) - A truck driver from Romania suffering from Covid-19 had to start his quarantine in the driver's cab of his van.
As the police announced, the trucker was assigned accommodation for further isolation on Thursday.
The man had triggered the height control of the Rendsburg Canal Tunnel on Wednesday with a car transporter that was too heavily loaded.
After the truck was temporarily lowered and escorted through the tunnel, the driver informed the officers that he was suffering from flu-like symptoms.
The ordered corona rapid test produced a positive result.
The officers deployed are in close contact with the police medical service and are to be tested for the corona virus in the following days.
