The Gard gendarmes seized on Tuesday some 1,500 counterfeit clothes, bags and pairs of shoes, in a clandestine shop in Bagnols-sur-Cèze (Gard), reports

Midi Libre.

The products, from major brands, were stored as in a real store, with displays.

Customers were baited via the Snapchat social network.

Operations also led the gendarmes in Vaucluse and Ardèche.

Three suspects still in custody

Four suspects were arrested and taken into police custody by the gendarmes, who had been investigating this case for several weeks, continues the regional daily.

On Wednesday, three of them, in their forties, were still heard by investigators.

They should be referred this Thursday to the Nîmes prosecutor's office.
