In the past 10 years, the area and intensity of soil erosion in the Yangtze River Basin have been reduced, and the area of ​​soil erosion has been reduced by 47,500 square kilometers, a decrease of 13.70%.

  It is reported that in 10 years, the comprehensive management area of ​​soil and water conservation in the Yangtze River Basin reached 169,600 square kilometers, and the entire 1.8 million square kilometers of the entire basin achieved full coverage of soil erosion dynamic monitoring.

497 counties (cities, districts) have passed the national inspection and acceptance of national soil and water conservation supervision and management capacity building counties, using remote sensing technology to achieve full coverage of remote sensing supervision of production and construction projects in the whole river basin, and carried out 232,900 supervision and inspections of production and construction projects.

The key treatment areas of the river basin have realized the transformation of the loss area from increasing to decreasing and the intensity from high to low.
