Eight people were injured, including two seriously, in a stabbing attack Wednesday in southern Sweden in a suspected "terrorist" attack, police said.
The alleged assailant, a man in his twenties, was wounded in the leg by police gunfire and arrested in the afternoon in Vetlanda, a small town in the south of the country, according to the authorities.
The latter had initially ruled out the terrorist trail but indicated Wednesday evening to suspect a "terrorist crime".
