The updated situation in Italy and in the world



From the data of the Ministry of Health today there are 20,884 new cases with 358,884 swabs (the positivity rate rises to 5.8%) and 347 victims (in total 98,635).

Yesterday there were 17,083 cases with 335,983 swabs (rate at 5.08%) and 343 victims.



In

Lombardy

, 4,590 new infections have been recorded in the last 24 hours.



In Campania 2,635 cases and 40 deaths


There are 2,635 (of which 354 cases identified by rapid antigenic tests) the new cases of Coronavirus registered in Campania (2,114 asymptomatic) compared to 26,533 swabs (6,783 antigenic). Forty died (total rises to 4,374), with the Crisis Unit of the Region specifying how 15 died in the last 48 hours, 25 previously but recorded yesterday. There are 628 healed of the day. 137 intensive care beds are occupied (656 are available), while hospitalization places are occupied are 1,356 out of a total of 3,160.



In Emilia-Romagna 2,456 infections and 40 deaths


Still 2,456 Coronavirus positivity were identified in the last 24 hours in Emilia-Romagna, based on 40,815 swabs.

There are 40 deaths and hospitalizations continue to grow at a rapid pace.

Of the new cases, 1,026 are asymptomatic, identified through contact tracing and screening.

The province with the most infections is that of Bologna, with 818 cases (of which 72 in Imola), but Reggio Emilia (293), Ravenna (268) and Rimini (241) are also growing strongly.

Active cases rise to 46,698, of which 94% in home isolation.

There are 251 patients admitted to intensive care (+12 compared to yesterday), 2,528 those in the other Covid departments (+57).



In Piedmont 1537 cases and 16 deaths


Today the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region reported 1,537 new cases of people who tested positive for Covid-19 (of which 275 after antigen tests), equal to 7.3% of the 21,062 swabs performed, of which 12,257 antigenic.

The total of positive cases thus becomes 255,463.

There are 181 patients admitted to intensive care (+1 compared to yesterday).

Patients not in intensive care are 2,140 (+ 1 compared to yesterday).

There are 15,597 people in home isolation.

The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 3,057,198 (+ 21,062 compared to yesterday), of which 1,176,453 were negative.

There are 16 deaths of people positive for the Covid-19 test reported by the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region.

The total is now 9,411 deaths who tested positive for the virus.



Veneto, 1,272 cases and 17 deaths


The growth of new daily cases of Covid-19 in Veneto continues: the regional bulletin reports 1,272 positive cases in the last 24 hours, with the total at 336,750.

There are also 17 new victims, with the total at 9,891.

Today the hospital figure is also increasing, with 22 admissions in non-critical areas, where 1,194 beds are occupied, and 10 admissions to intensive care, with a total of 155 hospitalized.



In Puglia 1,261 cases and 29 deaths


Today 11,427 tests for Covid-19 infection were processed in Puglia and 1,261 cases of contagion were recorded, for a positivity rate of 11.03% (yesterday it was 11%).

Also today, 29 deaths were recorded.

Since the beginning of the emergency 1,582,701 tests have been carried out;

112,274 are the patients recovered;

33,668 cases are currently positive.



In Tuscany 1163 cases and 28 deaths


There are 1,163 more positives than yesterday (1,122 confirmed with molecular swab and 41 by rapid antigen test).

Since the beginning of the epidemic in Tuscany there are 159,333 cases of Coronavirus positivity.

The healed reach 135,347 (84.9% of total cases).

Today, 16,532 molecular swabs and 8,381 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 4.7% were positive.

On the other hand, 13,257 subjects were tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular swab, excluding control swabs), of which 8.8% were positive.

The currently positive are 19,259 today, + 2.3% compared to yesterday.

The people hospitalized in the beds dedicated to Covid patients today are a total of 1,192 (29 more than yesterday, plus 2.5%), 171 in intensive care (3 less than yesterday, minus 1.7%).

Today there are 28 new deaths: 13 men and 15 women with an average age of 74.3 years.



In Friuli Venezia Giulia 693 cases and 10 deaths


Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 487 new infections have been detected on 6,276 molecular swabs with a positive percentage of 7.76%.

Furthermore, 2,569 antigenic rapid tests have been carried out, from which 206 cases (8.02%) were detected.

There are 9 deaths registered, to which is added a previous one relating to last February 19th;

there were 62 admissions to intensive care units (yesterday 61), while those in other departments were 386 (yesterday 380).

This was announced by the deputy governor of Friuli Venezia Giulia, with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.

The total deaths amounted to 2,866.

The totally healed are 62,655, the clinically healed 2,080, while the people in isolation today are 10,107.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 78,156 have been positive.



Abruzzo, 573 cases and 11 deaths


There are a total of 55479 positive cases of Covid-19 registered in Abruzzo since the beginning of the emergency.

Compared to yesterday there are 573 new cases.

The death toll of patients registers 11 new cases and rises to 1731.



In South Tyrol 280 cases and 1 death


There are 280 new cases of coronavirus contagion registered in South Tyrol in the last 24 hours, of which 180 from molecular tests and 100 from tests antigenic.

This is what emerges from the Health Authority of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano.

In the last 24 hours, 1 death has been recorded, for a total of 1,044 since the beginning of the pandemic.

311 healed in the last 24 hours.



In Calabria 230 cases and 4 victims


The number of infected in Calabria in the last 24 hours has increased by 230 units.

Four coronavirus victims reported by the bulletin.

To date, 557,211 subjects have been tested for a total of 590,389 swabs performed.

38,363 people tested positive, 518,848 negative ones.



In Basilicata 129 cases and no deaths


There are 129 new cases of contagion registered in Basilicata in the last 24 hours, compared to 11,339 tampons processed.

This is what the task force of the Basilicata Region says, specifying that 122 of the new positives are resident in the Lucanian territory.

On the same day, 61 people healed.

With this update, the currently positive Lucanians are 4,030, of which 3,919 in home isolation.

11,156 people residing in Basilicata recovered from the beginning of the health emergency and 363 died.

The people currently hospitalized in Lucanian hospitals are 111. Since the beginning of the health emergency, 243,966 molecular swabs have been analyzed, of which 225,625 were negative, and 149,289 people were tested.



Sardinia, 101 cases and 3 deaths


There are 41,407 cases of positivity to Covid-19 ascertained in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency.

In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit 101 new cases were detected.

In total, 783,633 swabs were performed, for an overall increase of 4,717 tests compared to the previous figure.

The positive cases-swabs performed ratio marks a positive rate of 2.1% for the Island.

There were 3 deaths (1,173 in all).

On the other hand, 192 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (-14), while 20 patients remain in intensive care.

There are 12,494 people in home isolation.

The healed are a total of 27,338 (+161), 190 instead of those declared clinically recovered.



Val d'Aosta, 9 new positive cases


There are 9 new positive cases at Covid communicated today by the bulletin of the Valle d'Aosta region.

The total is now 166, of which 12 hospitalized and 2 in intensive care.

The number of deaths in Valle d'Aosta remains unchanged at 415 since the start of the pandemic.
