Barcelona also confirmed that he had regained much of his balance in this season in which he suffered both.

Barcelona ended the first half in favor of him with a clean goal scored by Frenchman Osman Dembele in the 12th minute, and the excitement increased in the second half when he saw a missed penalty kick for Seville through Lucas Ocampos in the 73rd minute, which was enough to end the dreams of the Blaugrana completely.

As Sevilla prepared to get out with this result in its favor, Barcelona defender Gerard Pique scored the team's second goal in the fourth minute of the stoppage time of the match, just two minutes after Fernando Regis was sent off, the Seville player, to push Pique into extra time.
