Tuesday morning, six members of the Hauts de Massane neighborhood committee association, in Montpellier (Hérault), who had gathered in a municipal room for a work meeting, were threatened by three hooded individuals, who told them Respondent ordered to leave the scene, learned

The suspects are accused of having threatened the victims to "burn them on the spot", and of having started barricading the front door, preventing them from leaving.
For now, we do not know why this association has been targeted by threats.
Police were dispatched to the scene.
On their arrival, the police were victims of stones and insults.
Two people arrested
Two people, aged 19 and 24, were arrested and taken into police custody.
But the first elements do not yet make it possible to determine whether or not they are involved in the threats made against the members of the association.
Investigations are underway.
In a press release, the city of Montpellier “strongly condemns these unacceptable actions.
These acts of intimidation and violence against volunteers who give of their time for the life of the city are an unbearable attack on democratic life ”.
The neighborhood committee will be received on Saturday by the town.
