US partially withdrawn cooperation with Russia in space from sanctions

Within 15 days after the notification to Congress, sanctions are planned to be introduced in the field of the arms trade.

Thus, restrictions are imposed on the export of defense goods and defense services, with the exception of exports through state cooperation in the space sector.

At the same time, the measures will affect commercial cooperation in the space sector, they will enter into force after six months of a transitional period.

On March 2, the European Union introduced new sanctions against Russia due to the situation with Alexei Navalny. On the same day, the United States also announced new sanctions against Moscow.
