Oberstdorf (AP) - The second week of the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf begins today with a cross-country ski race for women.

Over the ten kilometers in the free technique (1:15 pm / “sportschau.de” and Eurosport 2), the Norwegian Therese Johaug is the clear favorite.

The 32-year-old defending champion is aiming for her twelfth gold medal at world championships.

Germany's cross-country team, which fell short of expectations in the first week of the World Cup, is competing without the hopeful Katharina Hennig.

In the evening (6 p.m.), the women's ski jumping qualification on the large hill is planned on the Schattenberg.
