Kiel (dpa / lno) - The FDP in the Kiel state parliament demands the defusing of corona protective measures in leisure and business.

"The contact rules must be made closer to life, especially for young families," said parliamentary group leader Christopher Vogt on Tuesday in view of the Prime Minister's Conference with Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) on Wednesday.

Currently, only one household is allowed to meet with one other person.

Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU) has already announced that this will be possible outdoors for five people or two households in the future.

"In terms of sport and culture, we want to have timely perspectives and begin by enabling smaller outdoor activities," said Vogt.

"The retail trade should be allowed to open with restrictions and outdoor catering should also be made possible."

For tourism, Vogt advocated low-risk offers from Easter.

"If we again fail to point out meaningful prospects nationwide, we in Schleswig-Holstein are well prepared," said Vogt.

"We would then at least want to strive for a north German solution."

With 49.7 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days, Schleswig-Holstein has almost the lowest incidence in Germany.

Only Rhineland-Palatinate was slightly below this with 49.6.

"We will probably have to remain cautious for a few more months, but the measures must finally become more differentiated and intelligent," explained Vogt.

"There are now several apps for digital contact tracking on the market that can help enable low-risk activities again."

All people should have the opportunity to be tested regularly for Corona or to test themselves.

The vast majority of the population expect sensible measures and realistic, fair prospects.
