Wildenfels (dpa / sn) - In a traffic accident in Wildenfels (Zwickau district), a driver died in his burning vehicle.
The 53-year-old collided with a driver of the same age in the Härtensdorf district on Monday, as the police announced on Tuesday.
Immediately afterwards, one vehicle went up in flames, the driver died in the car that burned out completely.
His opponent in the accident was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The exact course of the accident was still unclear on Tuesday.
The road was completely closed for five hours to record accidents and rescue work.
The total damage incurred was put at 35,000 euros.
