Bad Eilsen (dpa / lni) - A drunk man with a samurai sword called the police special task force (SEK) on Tuesday in Bad Eilsen (Schaumburg district).

The 30-year-old, who has his own apartment, refused to leave his parents' apartment.

The family locked him in a room out of fear.

He showed the officers who had arrived the samurai sword and a long knife through a hatch in the door, according to a police spokesman.

The family was also sure that he also had a firearm.

This then triggered the SEK mission.

The man, known to the police to be violent, was able to escape from the room, but eventually surrendered voluntarily.
