Last straight line for the electoral campaign in view of the legislative elections next Saturday (March 6) in Côte d'Ivoire.

An election marked by the return to the electoral competition of the opponents who had boycotted the presidential election of October 31, and even those close to Laurent Gbagbo, after ten years spent sulking the ballot box.

Under the EDS platform, they have often made an alliance with the PDCI, as in the constituency of Cocody, in Abidjan, which is very disputed with its some 450,000 inhabitants.

If seven lists are offered to voters, three share Cocody's advertising boards.

Yasmina Ouegnin, the outgoing MP, is running for a third term.

Elected as an independent in 2015, she regained the nomination of her party, the PDCI, and of the EDS platform.

At its permanence, the leaders of the women's leagues are active, behind Prisca Rabet.

She is "

a woman of integrity, Cocody can always count on Ms. Ouegnin

", she tells us about the candidate.

Like Bernadette, many see in Yasmina Ouegnin the future of the PDCI, and even more, as “President of the Republic”!

Faced with the outgoing, the RHDP has chosen Célestin Koalla, president of the local section of Alassane Ouattara's party.

Gathered to wait for him in Anono, a group of about thirty women sing his praises: if you have a problem and you go see Célestin Koalla, "

you will not come back empty-handed

 ", testifies one of them.

A few hundred meters away, the legal branch of the FPI is also preparing a meeting: it is Issiaka Sangaré, spokesperson for Pascal Affi Nguessan, who introduces himself.

Elysée distributes the t-shirts and leaflets and declares itself confident!

"

It is true that there are strong candidates in front of us but that does not discourage us!

We have a program and we are going to present it to the people of Cocody.

And it's up to them to embrace our vision and the changes we want to make.
