“The regular US sanctions announced yesterday against our country, in this particular case with regard to the export of arms, cause bewilderment, since no arms deliveries from the United States to the Russian Federation are being carried out and, of course, there are no plans,” RIA Novosti reported.
The service clarified that the last case of deliveries of military equipment from the United States took place during the Great Patriotic War under the Lend-Lease program.
Earlier, the United States announced new sanctions against Russia.
Later, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the new anti-Russian restrictive measures introduced by the United States following the European Union.
