At the end of September 2020, with the help of a stolen tractor, thieves forced a back door to an open-air shop in Själevad.

Once inside the store, they stole exclusive jackets.

The value of the clothes and the cost of the destruction is estimated at just over half a million kronor.

The six men who were charged with the burglary are now acquitted by Ångermanland District Court, which finds that there is no technical evidence.

Phones were tracked

Police have tracked down eight telephones that are believed to have been used in planning and carrying out the crime.

Three of them were filled with vouchers and through surveillance footage, three men are seen who the prosecutor believes are three of the suspects buying these.

As evidence at the trial, an image from a speed camera was also used where one of the suspects, according to the prosecutor, is seen sitting in a blue Audi that passes a speed camera in Överhörnäs at 214 km / h about a minute after the burglary.

The car can be linked to one of the suspects, but he believes that he lent the car.

The court believes that the identification of the men is not certain.

Acknowledged guard duty

One of the accused has admitted that he was on guard at the burglary.

He was standing south of Själevad and would call if anyone came.

He said in interrogation that he does not know who the thieves are.

The court notes the recognition but believes that there is uncertainty about the intent and frees the man.

However, he was sentenced for drug offenses to three months in prison.

Jackets were found

During a police raid in Stockholm, some of the jackets from the coup were found and in the apartment owner's phone, pictures were found where he posed with one of them.

He has since admitted that he dealt with some jackets.

There were also pictures where card houses were built from 500-kronor banknotes.

He is now sentenced for receiving, minor drug offenses and doping offenses to two months in prison.

Another of the accused is convicted of receiving and sentenced to probation.

"Fucked for life"

The men appearing in the indictment are all in their 30s and 40s.

Three are residents of Ångermanland and three in the Stockholm area.

All are already known to the police, one of the men appears about sixty times in the police's criminal register.

They have also made themselves known for serious crime, at least two of the men have links to the criminal network "Fucked for life".

The group, which originated in Tumba, made itself known in the 1990s and early 2000s for aggravated robbery and theft.

Several of the members later moved to Kramfors.

Also free from Birstakupp

Two weeks after the coup against the open-air store, a store in the Birsta shopping area in Sundsvall was later subjected to a similar crime.

A door was forced with a car and pallets.

Cigarettes, snus and soft drinks worth almost SEK 150,000 were stolen.

In total, the store owner lost just over SEK 230,000.

Two of those charged with jack theft were also charged with this crime but are now also acquitted of it.

The court believes that the surveillance images from the crime are not sufficient as evidence.
