Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - 128 further infections with the corona virus have been registered in Saarland.
A total of 29 082 infections have been reported so far, as the Ministry of Health in Saarbrücken announced on Tuesday (as of 4 p.m.).
Currently, 1194 people are demonstrably infected with Sars-CoV-2, 158 of them are being treated in hospitals and 44 in intensive care units.
The seven-day incidence in Saarland increased slightly to 73.7 on Monday, it was 73.4 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days, as the ministry announced.
On Tuesday last week, the incidence was put at 62.6.
The district of St. Wendel had the highest incidence with a value of 96.5.
The number of coronavirus-related deaths rose by two in the country to 888 on Tuesday.
