Budapest (AP) - The round of 16 second leg of the Champions League between RB Leipzig and Liverpool FC should, according to a media report, "probably" also take place in Budapest due to travel restrictions.

The "Times" reported (Tuesday) after the host English champions of coach Jürgen Klopp for the game on March 10th, several other options are not available.

The stadiums of Feyenoord Rotterdam and Udinese Calcio are also said to have been requested.

The first meeting was held in Budapest at the end of February, Liverpool won 2-0.

It has long been clear that the second leg will be moved to the Hungarian capital.

The European Football Union (UEFA) had asked the Klopp Club for a second relocation before the first leg, as Leipzig would face a two-week quarantine after returning from England due to the corona restrictions imposed by the federal governments.

Only a change of opinion by the health authorities would enable Leipzig to travel to Liverpool, but this is not foreseeable.
