Rostock (dpa / mv) - The Rostock Volkstheater is preparing for a new start and secure access for visitors to the foyer and auditorium.

As the theater reported on Monday, the so-called luca app is to be used for contact tracking in the future.

First of all, the theater management will test the app themselves, meetings and work meetings will be documented.

At the final rehearsals of the new drama production “Youth without God” in mid-March, the production team and possible reporters are to be recorded with the app.

“The nice thing about the app is that we can also use the luca system to receive those of our guests who don't have a smartphone or who don't want to download the app,” said Artistic Director Ralph Reichel.

The background to this is the initiative of Mayor Claus Ruhe Madsen (non-party) to invite vaccinated seniors to the first closed events in the Volkstheater.

"The preparations for these special presentations under great hygiene precautions have started," said Reichel.
