Ministry of Economic Development has decided on the timing of the population census

So, it is envisaged "to postpone the date of the census from April 2021 to the period from August 23 to September 30, 2021."

For remote and hard-to-reach areas, a period from April 1 to December 20 is proposed.

In addition, it is planned to allocate an additional 6.9 billion rubles from the government reserve fund for these events in 2021.

Earlier it was reported that about 90 thousand students are planning to involve in the census.

It is expected to be run using big data technology in experimental mode.
