Schwerin / Parchim (dpa / mv) - The Ludwigslust-Parchim district wants to offer daycare educators and primary school teachers vaccinations against Covid-19 from Friday.

To this end, mobile teams should move out in office, as a district spokesman told the German press agency on Monday.

It is true that priority group one - including doctors and nurses - has not yet been vaccinated.

However, the demand is lower than expected and the Astrazeneca vaccine should now also be offered elsewhere, which is viewed as critical.

At the weekend, the district identified daycare centers as new hotspots in the infection process.
