Stuttgart (AP) - According to his words, the CSU has a secret admirer in Baden-Württemberg's Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann (Greens).
"I always admired the CSU a little quietly," Kretschmann told the daily newspaper "taz" (Tuesday).
"The CSU looks closely at the currents in the population and not just at lobby groups, this is what sets them apart from the CDU in a very elementary way," said the Green politician, who has previously governed with the CDU as a junior partner.
New elections will take place in Baden-Württemberg on March 14th.

But when the CSU notices that the people want green, they don't quarrel, they go green. "
