Wernigerode (dpa / sa) - The International Johannes Brahms Choir Festival in Wernigerode has been canceled for this year due to corona.
In view of the pandemic, such an international event is not feasible, the city of Wernigerode announced on Monday.
A re-edition is planned for 2023.
The choir festival and the Brahms competition are held every two years in the Harz city.
In 2019, according to the city, there were choirs from 17 nations such as Bolivia, Malaysia, Kenya and Sweden and around 13,500 spectators.
