According to some sources, Sarkozy would have tried to influence the judges who were investigating suspected illicit funding for his election campaign.

Herzog and Azibert are indicted for "breach of professional secrecy". 



The former president has already been registered in the register of suspects for the case of an alleged Libyan funding for his electoral campaign in 2007 and risks another indictment for illegal campaign funding in the context of the Bygmalion scandal.
