Braunschweig / Magdeburg (dpa / lni) - On the A2 between Braunschweig and Magdeburg, a car driver delivered a chase with the police, in which four people were injured.
The 38-year-old driver simply accelerated at a traffic control, said a police spokesman on Monday.
He drove eastwards with his 26-year-old co-driver at more than 240 kilometers an hour.
In the Magdeburg area he then left the autobahn.
After he rammed three patrol cars with his car, he was finally stopped and arrested.
The man and three police officers were slightly injured in the accidents.
The persecution on Sunday afternoon lasted about an hour.
According to the police, it is still unclear why the driver fled.
