Enormous fear this Monday at the beginning of the afternoon, Bonne Source beach, in Pornichet in Loire-Atlantique.
A 4-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl were on rocks when the rising tide prevented them from reaching the beach, reports Sdis 44 (Loire-Atlantique Departmental Fire and Rescue Service ).
The firefighters quickly intervened and rescued the two children.
The rescue operation mobilized a jet-ski, a rescue and assistance vehicle for victims from the Pornichet center, a light sea lifeboat from the Saint-Nazaire rescue center.
A firefighter was however slightly injured.
He was transported to the Saint-Nazaire hospital center.
The two children, who were not injured, were left with their parents.
