Lüneburg (dpa / lni) - A deadly dispute over a dog sale is to be negotiated before the Lüneburg district court.

The accused are the father, mother and son of a family that sold the dog.

However, the deal was later to be reversed.

According to the indictment, a man accompanying the buyer fell in a scramble with the 54-year-old father and the 24-year-old son and hit his head on the floor.

The defendants are said to have continued to hit the man's head with their fists during the argument in a supermarket parking lot.

The injured man was initially in a vegetative state after operations and died almost two years after the incident.

After the dispute in Wietze (Celle district) in October 2017, the public prosecutor's office accuses father and son of bodily harm resulting in death.

The 48-year-old mother is charged with dangerous bodily harm.

She is said to have hit a woman first with her hand and then with a dog leash.
