Regensburg (AP) - The DFB Cup quarter-final game between SSV Jahn Regensburg and Werder Bremen on Tuesday (6.30 p.m.) is threatened with cancellation.

Further corona cases had occurred at the second division soccer club from the Upper Palatinate.

This was reported by managing director Christian Keller at the press conference on Monday and said that the club was therefore expecting the game to be postponed.

The entire support team and the team will now probably have to be in quarantine.

There was initially no official notification from the health department in Regensburg and the German Football Association (DFB).

Jahn coach Mersad Selimbegovic had already tested positive for the corona virus on Friday and then missed the second division game against Paderborn on the same evening (1-0).
