Berlin (dpa / lhe) - In Hesse, 243 new infections with the corona virus were confirmed within one day.
The number of related deaths rose by one to a total of 5,825, according to data from the Berlin Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Monday (as of 3:10 a.m.).
The incidence, i.e. the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within the past seven days, was 65.5 nationwide, compared to 63.4 the day before.
In the regions, the city of Kassel had the lowest value with 29.2, the Lahn-Dill district the highest with 98.3.
According to the RKI, a total of 188 623 corona cases have been detected in Hesse since the beginning of the pandemic.
