“School Operations”: The school principal is responsible for monitoring the absence of staff

The School Operations Sector in the Ministry of Education stressed the responsibility of the school principal or his representative to notify in the event that the employee does not adhere to the official work dates or the unjustified absence with an official document, through a circular issued to the sector, the day before yesterday.

The circular sent by the Operations Sector to the administrations of government schools, kindergartens and continuing education centers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi indicated that the school principal, his representative, or the direct head is not authorized to grant employees who are out of work or who are outside the country for any reason whatsoever, consent to work remotely.

He explained that this requires the approval of the Human Resources Committee for the School Personnel Sector, by submitting a request to the school support employee of the school to perform his procedures in presenting the request to the concerned party to decide on it and to inform the response.

On the other hand, the School Operations Sector informed the government school administrations in Abu Dhabi yesterday to reduce the duration of the class to 30 minutes instead of 45 minutes, while preserving the inclusion of five minutes between classes, and including the 15-minute break during the school day, Starting yesterday.
