She frequently visited the grassroots for investigation and research, summarizing social conditions and public opinions.
During the two sessions this year, her recommendations focused on "building the Pingtan Strait Cloud Computing Center" and "cross-strait cooperation in higher education institutions."
Xue Yufeng told reporters that with the continuous deepening of cross-strait economic and trade exchanges, there is a realistic and urgent need to build a cross-strait cloud computing center in Pingtan to provide more high-quality international data center services for Taiwanese and Taiwanese enterprises.

To ensure good service to Taiwan compatriots, to innovate and create in our mainland.
[Explanation] In Xue Yufeng's view, Pingtan's innovation and creation are inseparable from Taiwanese talents.
As the common home of compatriots on both sides of the strait, Pingtan must take the lead in attracting Taiwanese youth to study, find employment, and start a business. At the same time, it will also contribute to the development of Pingtan's industry, especially the establishment of Taiwanese enterprises, and reserve scientific research strength and high-end talents.

This area, as well as the "Belt and Road" area, the cultural and creative area, and the homestay area will attract Taiwan compatriots to create innovation and entrepreneurship in our mainland.
[Explanation] In recent years, Xue Yufeng’s Dongmen community has actively invited Taiwanese compatriots to participate in community governance, hired Taiwanese compatriots as community builders, and introduced Taiwan’s ecological and environmental protection, cultural and creative design, voluntary services, and other concepts and practices into community governance, and vigorously promoted them. This has resulted in the integration and development of the grassroots across the strait.
The Dongmen community draws on the experience of Taiwan to govern the community, which is the epitome of Pingtan's construction of a "cross-strait common home" and the exploration of grassroots integration between the two sides.
